 Taught this as a 14 year old I had enough to worry about remembering such a complicated equation - negative values? Well yes if I is negative so is V and that's what you get for connecting your multi-meter the wrong way around. Negative R? You must not have not set the zero-point on the meter resistance range. But consider if R is negative: ` V=-I*|R| `
