                                     Telnet
                                     ======

The directory 'Telnet' appears by kind permission of Peter Bell of
FourSquare Computing Ltd. It includes a new Telnet block driver and a Telnet
modem driver.

This setup allows you to run multiple copies of Hearsay, either through the
Telnet interface or (by making multiple copies of !Modem) each working
through its own serial port interface, and each copy is clearly identified
on the iconbar icon and on the terminal window title bar.

The !Hearsay in the Telnet directory, contains new !Boot and !Run files, a
new !SerialDev file and the new Telnet modem driver.

To apply this you must create a new copy of the main !Hearsay and then
remove the !Serial file from the !Hearsay.Library directory (if there is
one). Finally copy !Hearsay from the Telnet directory over the new !Hearsay.
The changes to the !Boot and !Run files mean this copy of !Hearsay will now
act as a resource directory. You won't be able to run it anymore. Double
click on it to set up various paths.

Now each time you double click on the !Telnet application a new copy of
!Hearsay will be run creating a new Telnet connection.

!SerialDev from this directory should be copied over your usual copy of
!SerialDev, doing so will merge in the Telnet block driver. Note this Telnet
driver is a new one not the original one written by Hugo Fiennes.

Running !Modem will allow you normal modem use of Hearsay, however note this
is set up for use with a dual serial port card i.e. it uses block drivers
for serial port access. To use the normal serial port you'd edit the !Run
file in !Modem, and replace SP_Dual with the name of the block driver you
usually use to access the serial port e.g. InternalPC.
